Public Relations Manager

Develop marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics for the company brands.

Job Responsibility

1. Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media. Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
2. Coordinate with the company’s project planning and promote public relations events and contents, and improve the company’s brand awareness and reputation;
3. Brand market planning, provide PR support, plan and implement PR communication plans according to communication needs.
4. Connect with the product marketing department to sort out the core selling points of the product, write the press release, social media content, and other external related content；
5. Research social media promotion mode and channel; use social media for brand promotion and product marketing；
6. Crisis handling, including online and offline public opinion monitoring of the company’s brand, and regularly providing monitoring reports and optimization strategies；
7. Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
8. Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis

Requirements for the Job

• Proven working experience in public relations required, having a brand experience is a plus；
• Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
• Strong understanding of consumer electronics products, a well understanding of mobile business is preferred, Finance and FMCG background are also welcomed;
• Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
• Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Event planning experience
• BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
• Definitely is a team player and willing to work with others in right attitude, also can multitask under pressure in different markets
