The Nakuru Digital Tourism Forum is a grassroot program of the regional Africa Tourism Technology and Innovation Forum (ATTIF). ATTIF is a deeply practical platform and solution-based dialogue between leading and upcoming technology and innovation firms and key Africa tourism stakeholders.
The Nakuru Digital Tourism Forum is the first grassroot forum under ATTIF program and will be hosted by Nakuru Box Innovation Centre in collaboration with Nakuru County department of Tourism, Nakuru County Tourism Association and stakeholders. Nakuru Box is a premier Co-Working space in Nakuru Town that
provides a serene, sophisticated and upmarket premise where entrepreneurs, freelancers, and startups can share a collaborative environment to drive success in their businesses.
The core objective of this forum is to make Nakuru a model destination ready for tourism recovery by equipping the stakeholders with practical digital tools and skills to navigate the new normal.
This unique breakfast session will seek to help Nakuru County Tourism Stakeholders to;
• Navigating the new normal of digital tourism
• Define Tourism Recovery for destination Nakuru
• Customer digital experience and safety
The forum will seek to explore the Opportunities brought about by Covid-19 including;
• Re-think business model
• Innovation and digitization
• Niche sectors e.g. adventure, rural tourism, health tourism
• Progress in adaptation plans in destination Nakuru, among others
